Meteor Falls

Somewhere around 2300 d.c, the world was in the edge of a utopia. Sustainable cities, advanced technology, lots of "infinite" resources... However, since nothing is in peace forever, far in the space a meteor is coming towards the Earth...

As the meteor falls in the ocean, it releases a substance... the substance reaches the groundwater, and spreads through the entire Earth. Consequently, the plants absorbs this substance, and then the animals "eat" it.

Anomalies begins to happen. People noticed strange animals appearing. Bigger animals. Faster. And... more bloodthirsty.

Mutants Appears

Those ferocious creatures startled people all over the world. The government took action, and demanded researches about those creatures. And they discovered inside them, the substance from that meteor. Researches go and researches come, the cientists discovered that the substance only altered male specimens, transforming them into ferocious creatures; on the other hand, the females had their abilities upgraded, just as more strengh, speed, endurance and regeneration.

It didn't took long for tests with humans subjects begin. Two factions were created:

The Hawk, which took only volunteers for the tests. However, the results wasn't different from the animals: Female ones survives. Male ones dies. And it didn't took long for Hawk to fall, as the volunteers gave up that hopeless "cure". And the "virus" spread on...

And thus, Cerberus was born. A organization that kidnapped children to train them, change their genetic structure so they would fit that "virus". Their way to do that was harsh.

They had the same objective. "Cure the virus". Or make males be able to use it too. One way or another...

That's how our protagonist were created.
